A brief aesthetic overview of design, I learned about the different schools and figures of mid-century design, it's a nice introduction with minimalist illustration。 A brief aesthetic overview of design, I learned about the different schools and figures of mid-century design, it's a nice introduction with minimalist illustration。 。。。more

A great little handbook primer on the iconic mid-century designs。 Some you've never heard/seen, and many you have。 Great small illustrations coupled with short pithy text。An eye opener。 A great little handbook primer on the iconic mid-century designs。 Some you've never heard/seen, and many you have。 Great small illustrations coupled with short pithy text。An eye opener。 。。。more

This is a good little book in which to get familiar with mid-century modern products but OH! I wish there were photographs used to show the items instead of these simple line drawings。 Such a wasted opportunity!!! I wish it was organized by designer rather than chronologically - I felt I was jumping around in the book to see a designer's work that was mentioned earlier。 The text for each item was very concise。 This is a good little book in which to get familiar with mid-century modern products but OH!
